CHALLENGES
Our six hackathon challenge categories are Art, Education, Energy, Health, Food, and Cities. We decided after much thought that these broad categories were both vague and grounded enough to pave the way for creativity. Nearly any kind of project out there from transportation to conservation will fit under one or more of these categories.
Please note, you can attend the conference without participating in the hackathon!
PROJECTS
We are expecting about 75-100 projects in each of our 6 challenge categories. Every idea matters and we encourage all those interested to apply.
The climate crisis isn't something that can be solved overnight.
In acknowledging this fact, Capsule Hack is seeking to nurture and develop new ideas and iterations on existing ideas that will have a lasting impact on the planet. Learn more about the Innovation Pipeline and what happens after Capsule Hack.
Each hackathon project accepted to attend Capsule Hack represents a group of change-makers dedicated to bringing their idea to fruition with the help of Capsule Hack as a launchpad. Interested in leading a project or joining a team effort? Join our LinkedIn group and submit a project idea!
CHALLENGE SUPPORT
You are not alone, we have several avenues of support for you over the 2-day hackathon and even before.
CHALLENGE PARTNERS
To help our participants build outstanding projects, our challenge partners are here to help. For each of Capsule Hack’s challenges, there will be one or more Challenge Partners assigned to support project needs in that category.
These Challenge Partners are passionate about their category and invested in supporting projects coming in under their challenge. Through intentional relationships with their challenge’s participants, resources gathered to meet the needs of projects, and expert mentorship recruitment, Challenge Partners are committed to ensuring the success of every project.
MENTORS
A roster of expert mentors will be shared with registered attendees.
