Registering for Capsule Hack will grant attendees access the virtual conference which includes two full days of programming. Attendees can pick and choose sessions that are of most interest including keynote speakers, interactive panel discussions & problem solving breakouts, musical & art performances, and a yoga session.

Abigail Kammerzell,
U.S. Sustainability Manager H&M
Abigail Kammerzell is the Sustainability Manager for H&M’s operations in the United States. She drives the company sustainability strategy and programs to support the interconnectivity between the health of people and the health of the planet, while amplifying storytelling around H&M’s sustainability initiatives. Abigail is responsible for accelerating H&M US’s sustainability-related efforts through providing focus, alignment, and guidance. After joining H&M in 2008, Abigail worked in a variety of roles at H&M, including HR, Employee Engagement, and Internal Communications.
Louise Glew,
Director of Conservation Evidence WWF
Louise’s research focuses on understanding the social and ecological impacts of conservation interventions in complex social-ecological systems. She has an interdisciplinary background, with expertise in arid rangeland ecology, social sciences and statistics. She leads WWF’s Conservation Evidence portfolio that seeks to generate, synthesize and integrate evidence on the impact of conservation interventions into policy and practice. Before working with WWF, Louise conducted her Ph.D. research in northern Kenya.
Shah Selbe,
Founder of Conservify
National Geographic Explorer
Shah is an engineer, conservation technologist, and National Geographic Explorer that works with communities, NGOs, and developing countries to identify and deploy technologies that can help with their greatest conservation challenges. This includes low-cost observation platforms (conservation drones, acoustic sensors, open source sensors, satellite imagery, etc) and better methods to share and manage the data gathered (using mobile technologies, crowdsourcing, the internet). He founded Conservify in order to bring open source technologies into conservation.
Ruchit Shah,
Director Of Software Development at Walmart Labs
Ruchit is an IT executive with Over 16 years of comprehensive experience in general management and Software Engineering. He has led, built, and empowered teams for technology innovation, technology transformation, microservices-based elastic cloud solutions, and enterprise supply chain and transportation architectures for Walmart Customers evolving needs. As a proponent of Innovation, he has delivered various projects with Open Source technologies and transformed business processes.
Zach Freeze, Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives,Walmart
Zach Freeze is the Senior Director for Sustainability at Walmart. Zach is responsible for leading the environmental sustainability initiatives at the company, which includes strategic target setting and implementation of goals in the areas of climate, zero waste, and sustainable packaging. Zach has been with Walmart for over 13 years, and has held roles in other areas in Walmart that include environmental health and safety and indirect sourcing and procurement.
Prior to joining Walmart, Zach’s experience includes hazardous waste management, environmental consulting, and product specification testing. Zach earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Arkansas Tech University and a Master of Science in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas.
